I.S. Berry is the author of The Peacock and The Sparrow, an espionage novel that has won multiple awards and has become an instant classic. In the past, she spent six years as a CIA intelligence officer, serving in wartime Baghdad and elsewhere. She has lived and worked throughout Europe and the Middle East, including two years in Bahrain during the Arab Spring. I.S. Berry is also a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers.
